Everything you wanted to know about The Ark!The Ark is an alcohol-free nightclub and centre for youth which is open every Friday and Saturday night for young people aged from 11 up to early twenties. We are also open every Wednesday afternoon for lunches from 12pm until 2pm, and then as an after school drop-in centre from 3.30pm until 6.30pm. Its free to get in and gives young folk a cool place to hang out with their friends. Our club and nitebase is situated close to the town centre of Ayr, only 10 minutes from the train station and a 5 minute stroll from the bus station. The Ark can hold up to 300 people, and has a large dance floor and stage, bar and eating area, industrial kitchen, IT suite with 8MB broadband internet access and plenty of soft seating for lounging around!
