The IT Suite

We have a fantastic computer suite - a whole mezzanine floor of private study boothes, each with those cool blue chairs, and a network of brand new top-of-the-range computers. Add to that unlimited 8mb broadband internet access, a wide range of amazing software packages, and even WIFI for those who want to bring their own laptops, and you have a state-of-the-art internet cafe.

The facilities are available for people to come in and study, chill-out, or even take part in occassional training courses for things like graphic and web design, video editing, and a range of music-development activities. The Ark operates this internet suite with a full knowledge of online child protection issues and can deliver training on internet safety.

We really want to encourage young people to stay safe when they are using the internet. To help with this we are able to provide cutting edge training for organisations, schools, parents groups, youth workers, and young people themselves.
