Do you or someone you know have Autism or ADHD? Do you struggle to attend normal youth clubs or groups because they’re too loud or too busy?

Why not try our Empower Autism group? Here at the Ayr Ark we love providing a safe space for teenagers to come and hang out with their friends. Our Empower Autism group has been running for over 2 years and it has proven to help build confidence in the young people who attend and has become a safe and quiet space for those who struggle with loud noise and too many people. This group is aimed at young people S1-S6.

What to expect when you come along?
You will be greeted by a friendly staff member who will register you so that when you come again we know who you are.
You can hang out with your friends or take some time to yourself by playing Xbox, sit down with our laptops, play pool, table tennis or air hockey with your friends or staff, as well as access to our chill out room where you can watch netflix and get involved in our table activities like Lego, board games or sensory objects.
Half way through the session we offer a free snack and a drink.
